Jet2 Holidays Launches from London Gatwick

Jet2 Gatwick launch

Jet2 has announced it will begin operating from London Gatwick from March 2026, a move that expands its reach into the South East and offers travellers more choice for European holidays next summer, adding to easyJet, TUI and British Airways who already offer European destinations from Gatwick.

What’s Planned

From March 2026, six aircraft will operate from Gatwick, including five new Airbus A321neo planes — designed to be more fuel-efficient and quieter than most in their class. Flights are now on sale, with 29 destinations across Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Turkey, Malta, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Cyprus.

The first departure is set for Tenerife on 26 March 2026, in time for the Easter holidays.

If you’re based in or around London, this is a welcome change: a wider choice of European holidays, departing closer to home. It’s also a good moment to start thinking ahead — early availability usually means better value and flight times.

Flights and holidays are now on sale for summer 2026.
